BARYONYX - ALTERNATIVE ELECTRO ROCKBaryonyx are a Tuscan alternative / electro rock band formed in 2007 in Livorno (Italy).
The nucleus of the group was born at the end of 2007 from an idea of the founders Matteo Ceccarini (vocal) and Antonio Morelli (guitar), who began as a duo of pop / rock bands music. The following year he joined the group Alessio Luchetta (as drummer) and in 2009 came the debut with the EP "Black Out". Since 2010 the band experimented with new alternative rock sounds that bring the output of the single "Pensieri” (Thoughts) and then in 2012 to the release of the EP "Trias" (most popular songs are "NoSen" and "Nuvole Di Vetro” (Glass Clouds). Focusing on the spread of these productions, the band has enjoyed an unexpected consent from the radio to the public level, and live television. In this last, the band manages to fit into various channels: through the program Uzone on the italian television (Mediaset Italia 2) and fall within the top 100 of broadcast video on Mediaset site in the section 16mm; They also participate in an interview via Skype + unplugged for WebTV Mexican SayYeahT, with a lot of follower and simultaneous connections in five Latin American countries. In 2014 sign a contract with Ghostrecord Label that reprint the album “Trias” and begin a project with a new album LP. In 2015 the band becomes again a duo (Antonio and Matteo) with the help of occasional musicians: in this new phase, experimenting with the use of electronic music, it outlines an electro rock style. They start recording the first album that will be called "Fuori il Blizzard” (Out of the Blizzard). In 2015 opened the official channel on Vevo with the video of the song "Nuvole di Vetro" (Trias), and the single "Voce84" preview of the new album. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I Baryonyx sono un gruppo toscano alternative/electro rock formatosi nel 2007 a Livorno. Il nucleo del gruppo nacque alla fine del 2007 da un idea dei fondatori Matteo Ceccarini (voce) e Antonio Morelli (chitarra) che iniziarono come duo di musica pop/ rock adolescenziale. L’anno seguente si aggregò al gruppo il batterista Alessio Luchetta e nel 2009 avvenne l’esordio con l’EP “Black Out”. Dal 2010 la band sperimenta nuove sonorità alternative rock che portano all’uscita del singolo “Pensieri” e successivamente nel 2012 alla pubblicazione dell’EP “Trias” (canzoni di punta “NoSen” e “Nuvole di Vetro”). Concentrandosi sulla diffusione di queste ultime produzioni, la band ha riscosso un inaspettato consenso da parte del pubblico a livello radiofonico, live e televisivo. Proprio in quest’ultimo la band riesce ad inserirsi in vari canali: tramite il programma UZONE ottengono alcuni passaggi televisivi su Mediaset Italia 2 e rientrano nella top 100 dei video trasmessi, sul sito 16mm; inoltre partecipano ad una intervista + unplugged via Skype per la webtv messicana SayYeahTV, seguitissima con collegamenti contemporanei da cinque Paesi dell’America latina. Nel 2014 la band firma un contratto discografico con l’etichetta italo-inglese Ghostrecord Label la quale propone una ristampa dell’album Trias e assieme alla band progetta l’uscita del primo LP. Nel 2015 la band torna ad essere un duo (Antonio e Matteo) con la collaborazione di musicisti occasionali: in questa nuova fase, sperimentando l’utilizzo di musica elettronica, si delinea uno stile elettro rock. Iniziano così le registrazioni del primo LP che prenderà il nome di “Fuori il Blizzard”. Nel 2015 viene aperto il canale ufficiale su Vevo con il video della canzone "Nuvole di Vetro" (Trias) e del singolo “Voce84” anteprima del nuovo album. Discography
